ECU100 (1 unit)
The ECU100 Environmental Control Unit (ECU) is a cellular based data-logger and controller which includes eight closed loop circuits composed of one single-ended (0 to 2.5VDC) analog inputs and a corresponding normally-open relay.
These units are ideal for closed-loop applications where a device nearby must be turned on or off based on a user-configured analog input level threshold. Common industrial IoT applications include industrial-grade thermostats, water flow and tank-level monitoring, and factory equipment automation.
To begin using the device, apply power to the ECU100. Upon power-up the device will establish a connection to the strongest Tier 1 network available using an onboard SIM. After a connection is established the device will begin to transmit data to the EDG Client Portal, making data immediately available.
Each ECU100W unit includes:
8 analog-to-digital converters:
0 to +2.5 VDC single-ended
8 normally open relays:
Nominal Switching Capacity (resistive load): 5 A at 250 VAC, 5 A at 30 VDC
Max. Switching Power (resistive load): 1,250 VA, 150 W
Max. Switching Voltage: 250 VAC, 110 VDC, 0.4 A
Max. Switching Current: 5 A (AC, DC)
Cellular antenna
Global cellular connectivity using multiple Tier 1 networks
Data transmissions to the EDG Client Portal occur over LTE Cat M1 (LTE-M)
Network connections are established automatically using an onboard SIM
AC/DC wall-mount power adapter (+12VDC output)
1 year subscription to EDG Client Portal
Assign meaningful names to individual devices
Organize devices into groups for selective monitoring
Historical access to data
Export data to CSV to quickly monitor trends, make predictions, and take action
Lifetime security updates without user intervention
Applications
Industrial-grade thermostats
Water flow and tank-level monitoring
Factory automation
Enclosure dimensions
150mm x 150mm x 45mm (L x W x H)
